All Good
Branding, Packaging & Web
Summary

Born from a love of clean, natural and homemade living, All Good is a labour of love by Gargee Munjal, who believes that the best investment you can make is in your own health!

A passionate home entrepreneur from Mumbai, Gargee has been making ready-to-eat snacks that are packed with nutrition and flavour since 2016.

She wanted to take her business online, and I was tasked to design the brand. A friendly, and inviting brand was designed, with heavy usage of green to promote that they’re all about health and eco friendly practices.

Discovery

The project kicked off with a discovery call where we needed to create an identity for 'Healthy Kitchen Gourmet' that was started by Gargee Munjal.

Upon call, it was pretty clear that a rebrand was necessary for her venture into granola bars - and since she also was going to sell other products later, it was evident that a the brand had to feel like it belongs in this age.

In the call, we asked plenty of questions, about where she sees her brand to be, especially in 5 years. What ideas does she want to communicate through her brand - at this time - the name wasn't decided.

Moodboarding

Upon understanding the requirements on call - a set of 3 moodboards were made - one that leanded more towards being very bold and strong, the other with more elegant & friendly imagery & the other that focused much more on being organic. Then later on, we had the call with Gargee again on what best suits the brand that she's imagining according to her - based on the Second moodboard (left) & the third moodboard (right).

Logo Explorations

I had already started on the logo explorations because I thought I had a pretty clear picture of what Gargee intends (turns out I was wrong, more on that later) - so I started some explorations on the moodboards I was going to be presenting. Some of these included some bold type, one was a badge & the other was a more typical, friendly mark that would be a good choice for a brand staring granola bars.

Finalists

These were the final logo options we presented - out of which everybody in the team liked Option One. Unsurprisingly, that was my favorite pick too considering I had put in a lot of effort into it (that G looked gorgeous)

To our surprise, Gargee loved the badge - and wanted a direction somewhere along those lines. The logo wasn't finalised yet, but I had a prett clear picture now on what we wanted, and what could be done.

More Badge Explorations

These were done after the request, where we explored multiple elements in multiple distinct shapes.

The Final Mark & a new challenge

Upon more revisions, this mark was finalised. But there was one more problem, a logo with such long vertical height might not be the best idea for a website header & multiple other places.

To fix that, we created multiple brand marks that could be used independently.

Color Palette

Color palette was pretty much the only thing we were in agreement on quite from the start. The overall brand color had to be green - we added a little hint of yellow to make it a little more distinctive, and for the other colors, they were strictly used for flavors of the granola bars.

The Sleeves

For the bars, since these were handmade and the client really wanted us to make them feel that way. We chose to use a wrap and a sleeve with ingredient information. The idea was for the bars to be wrapped in butter paper, and the sleeve would be added on top of it for each bar,. Although, the process could get time consuming, it is something that the client was okay with.(This is a high res image, you should be able to zoom in and view the design properly)

Initial idea was to also have the sleeves be white, and have the butter paper be different colors that represented flavors. Upon research, it was found that the to add the colors to the paper, it had to be dyed. Which could end up doing some harm to the bars, so the sleeves were kept colored instead.

The Box

Design for the box, where there is a transparent window so that the bars are nicely visible before opening. The stars from the logo, and the lines are used as a pattern at places. They’re also used over at the website.

The Web Experience

A website was also set up, using Wix as a platform. Homepage was built on a preexisting site I built before. and everything including the images, the system and the products were set up using Wix.Design for the box, where there is a transparent window so that the bars are nicely visible before opening. The stars from the logo, and the lines are used as a pattern at places. They’re also used over at the website.
